I placed an order on 11th August for Portwin Speaker Landline Phone from Amazon.in. It showed that the delivery will be done in 2-3 days i.e. maximum till 14th August.
I waited till 14th August then on 15th I called up Amazon and got to the know that the product has been handed over to the wrong courier.
Hence the delivery will be made in two days. Again on 17th I called up and they said that I will receive the product by 8:30pm today as we have escalated the issue . But I did not receive the product. To my surprise I got the message that the product had returned as no one found in the given address. This was pathetic as I was at home itself.
Again I called up today i.e. 18th August and again they committed that any cost the product will be received till 8:30 pm. But the online status was showing that it will take another two days for delivery. Hence I again called up and clarified and they again promised that the product will be received today itself.
And I did not receive the product. Again I called up at 8:40pm and the most irritating part is that every time they say we apologies for the inconvenience caused but actually its just a statement they are trained to speak and this mean nothing to them.
So my 8:40 pm call was again answered with an apology and they said they have escalated the issue and I will recieve the product ASAP. I asked the customer care executive to talk to the courier person and ask when will it get delivered, I was kept on hold and then told that the courier will be delivered today itself and the courier person will call me.
I received the call from the courier guy at 8:55 pm that he will deliver the product in some time. Its 10:09 pm now and I did not receive the product, meanwhile I have given 3 calls to the courier guy and he replies that, "dont worry, I will give your product today, I will take some time, I have many products to deliver, and he laughs. What the hell is this.I dont understand when will he come is already 10:12 pm.
AMAZON SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, ITS NOT CUSTOMERS JOB TO KEEP CALLING THE COURIER GUY AND HEAR HIS NONSENSE. AMAZON SHOULD COME OUT OF ITS REPETITIVE LINES AND SHOULD GENUINELY UNDERSTAND AND RESOLVE CUSTOMERS COMPLAIN.
