If you have experienced Amazon.com or have seen any of their "express" shipment adv, PLEASE DO NOT FALL IN THEIR TRAP!
"Amazon.in" is a disaster. I ordered a mobile phone on 10th May14(morning) for my mothers birthday(17th May) thinking that delivery will happen much before that, I wrote a message "Happy Birthday in advance".
Since I had very high regards for Amazon, I completely forgot to follow shipments etc. Forget about delivery, Amazon wasnt knowing where their shipment is?! Unfortunately, I started following up with them from 15th.
Adding to my surprise, the shipment was sent through GATI! Who in this e-com world, sends expensive thing like mobile through surface carrier GATI! Forget about me, Amazon themselves were HANDICAPPED in coordinating with GATI.
After almost 30+ calls (which they attend only till 7:30PM) and uncountable emails, we were able to get nothing out of them. Poor me!
Their Customer Service is there only for "face value", all they have to say is "Sorry, we will give our best" with ZERO RESULTS and accountability. Moreover, they have not published my review of product(reason is obvious).
I am sympathetic as a brand like Amazon has fallen apart due to poor backend (which they are famous for worldwide).
