Amazon India’s service is extremely poor. I have been thoroughly disappointed.
On 26th July 2014, I had brought Jove Women’s Red Slippers - size 6 UK on amazon.in for my wife.

I received a wrong size of shoes(UK 7) on 31st July 2014.
So much for Amazon’s quality checks. They do not even verify the shoe size before sending.
I asked for a replacement with the correct size on 2nd August 2014 but Amazon does not replace products.
They initiated a return of the order and asked me to replace the order post refund.
They said order would be picked up in 24-48 hours.
I am waiting since 2nd August 2014 and have had several follow ups with their customer service and everytime I talk to them they give another 24-48 hours deadline which they fail to keep.
I do not know how Amazon India is working but this method is not helping their business or their customers in any way. They are infact ruining the Amazon brand that is known for its service worldwide. I have used other online shopping portals like Flipkart and found them far far better than Amazon India.
Amazon India, if you are listening, I placed an order on 26th July and am still waiting for the correct order to be delivered. So this has been a complete waste of time and energy for me. I am not coming back to Amazon India again for the CONVENIENCE of online shopping again.
