Amazon world’s leading brand in e commerce also has some gimmick for their customers. In spite of its position in market and reputation among customers for their service they are offering people to participate in this game. though I don’t think any one have ever won any prize from this contests.
Was it really needed for amazon?
As of now AMAZON has emerged as the leader in INDIAN market rapidly replacing Flipkart which was in the leading position when amazon came in india in 2013. They are having better range of products available with them along with very competitive price tags, beside their ability to reach in remotest places in india where other players can’t.
But this gimmick can spoil their reputation as well as their image in the market. They really don’t need such things rather they can focus on the appearance and usability of their site which is still not up to the mark as compared to flipkart or snapdeal.
