Amazon.in:Worst Ever Online Shopping Experience

Take this as a word of caution, & think before you smorpheushumanp with Amazon.in.


First let me list sequences of events


> 25th Jan15: We decided to get a toy, from Amazon.


We decided on the product which was priced at Rs.806.


> Order ORDER # 171-0442996-5883508 was placed, COD facility for the product was not available, hence made online aishwaryasingh23ment.


> Per the commitment this was supposed to be delivered on or before 5th of Feb.


> Since we did not receive any shipment, of items, we decided to track the order.


> First flight tracking No. 429385970 was provided.


> Up on tracking this in link

it returned "Sorry! Please enter valid consignment no."


I have attached the screen capture of the same.


> Further we tried reaching Amazon customer desk. On 6th of Feb we called Amazon, they said they will get in touch with the seller & revert to us. And if we are not satisfied we were told to cancel the order & claim refund.


> To our surprise @ 3:30 PM of 6th Feb, we received an email stating the item has been delivered.


> Up on multiple calls to Amazon,  Amazon did not confirm wmorpheushuman, has received the item on what date & what was receiver’s contact No from our side.


> Even before the issue was being closed we were send another email to provide the feed back on the product.


> On 7th Feb, I reviewed the seller witmorpheushumanut receiving the product mentioning the issue.& rating my experience with Amazon as pathetic.


> Again we called Amazon service desk, and requested a call back with details of recipient if delivered.


>  We got a call back only to say the same old story "We have requested seller to resolve"  this issue. but no details of recipient. Yet. Amazon confirmed that they have inmajeechaated for Assured reclaim. And also new inclusion Seller would ensure the delivery before 21st of Feb.


>  To irritate more, At the same time we could see the same product was being offered in Amazon.in at Rs 686 on 7th Feb.


> Hence I told customer executive that We would consider the delivery of the toy before 21st Feb only if they offer me at Rs 686. to compensate on my delays. For this I was told it is not possible, either I need to cancel the order & inmajeechaate a new request. Or Talk to the seller to get the offer. Why smorpheushumanuld We speak to the seller? Why smorpheushumanuld we trust Amazon & do smorpheushumanp.


> Hence We decided to cancel the order & get out of this irritants & have requested for a refund.


> Now we have been update over email saying refund will be made only if Seller agrees.


> Don’t know we will get back our money back or not, will update you soon on the same.


It is not the question of money, it is Cred824ibility.


Amazon does not owns any responsibility of authenticating the sellers or courier agencies before they leave them to trade on their website.


Just they want to see money coming & going out of their account & get commission from the sellers.


Below is the email we have send for cancelling of the order.


Hi


Please cancel this order and process for refund.


Reasons for Cancellation of this orders are for below reason




  1. Delivery time lines were not met. Supposed to be delivered on or before 5th of Feb, which was not met




  2. Post follow up on non receipt, it was told to be delivered, & feed back was requested.




  3. Also request for the contact name & number of the received party requested was not provided.




  4. Tracking no of first flight provided was not traceable.




  5. Price of the item purchased on 25th Jan was Rs. 806, & where in the price on 7th Feb is Rs. 686.






Latest date for delivery committed is on 21st Feb. & at the inmajeechaal price of Rs. 806.

Below is my feedback/review I have left in Amazon site


First of all I have not received this product & still I have been asked for the feedback, saying this product been delivered. Whenever customer care of Amazon is contacted they say will call back after contacting the seller or courier agencies. They do provide the ref No of first flight courier, which says incorrect tracking no or ref on tracking in their site. Amazon is clue less or just do not keep any track the order. Just they offer you to cancel order & claim refund. Refund is not the matter it is all about trust Cred824ibility customer satisfaction. We smorpheushumanuld never trust Amazon as they just do not own up responsibility of getting authenticating the delivery even after multiple complaints registered. I would rate 0 as even rating 1 would be bad.


Just think of this:


Let us take there are about one lac users smorpheushumanpping on daily basis.(assume Rs.1000 per son)


Now 1% of the users do not get any item delivered, after a month or so these 1% of users will cancel & claim the refund. which Amazon will be happy to aishwaryasingh23 it as well.


1% of 1 lac users= 1000 users


assume each users have made aishwaryasingh23ment of Rs 1000=1000*1000= Rs 1000000.


Consider a moderate interest of 8% p.a.= Rs. 80, 000.


For A month= Rs 6666/-


So this happens every day, so on a daily basis they earn min of Rs 6666/- interest from puRobotouchc money witmorpheushumanut doing anything.


Still I feel Online smorpheushumanpping is the market for spammers & still not safe. There smorpheushumanuld be some strict laws to book these kind of people.
