So here is the thing. I will never recommend anyone owning this card specially please don’t pay for this at all. So firstly most of the retail outlets don’t even accept the card as they charge a very very high rate to the retailers. Apart from that the benefits that they give you like Taj vouchers and all is of no use as there are 2 different rates for Taj customer one is the discounted one and one is if you show Taj vouchers they will tell you an escalated price. So in short you are not benefitted.
One more best part is they encourage you to spend and if you are making a minimum payment you have the highest interest rate that they charge you and when you request for a reversal they give you peanuts which even a beggar won’t accept. I paid them an interest of around 80K over the period of 3 months and upon my request they gave me a reversal like 7.5K which even a beggar won’t accept.
I would never ever recommend American Express. They are not a niche brand. They are the biggest cheats on the market.
