They sold the gold card labelling it as unlimited and then set a credit limit of 75K. Without any problems of delayed payment they went ahead with blocking the card. They didnt even care to update the earning pattern of customer before taking the decision
Customer care offers to close the card but not ready to reimburse the annual fees.
Other problems with the card are:
1) Very Very limited acceptability. One has to literally search stores which would acceppt AMEX
2) Stores accepting AMEX usually having on an average higher prices
3) The net benefit of using the card is 0.5% of saving over all the expenses. Other credit cards on an average have 1-2%
4) The gift on the rewards point are overpriced
5) Doesnt seem to be interested in retaining current customer
6) High charges to merchant on card usage due to which they avoid accepting AMEX cards(estimated 1-2% higher charges on the total bill amount)
Non-analytical, unprofessional and non-customer friendly.
