PEOPLE WHO ENJOY BEING HUMILIATED IN PUBLIC, SHOULD SUCSCRIBE AMEX
AMEX prides itself in not issuing credit cards with ’’ad-hoc’’ limits. They ask for financial accounts, balance sheets, IT returns, etc. before alotting a card and deciding his/her limit. After all this, one can find that the card is not widely accepted.
I had gone to a restaurant where they claimed to accept AMEX cards. However my card was turned down because as they claimed ’’the telephone number where they could varify the card, was not contactable’’. whats more is they accepted another ’’free-for-three-months-adhoc 20000 limit-mastercard’’. Whats more, upon reporting the incident to AMEX, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it.
Hence anyone thinking of taking an AMEX card, had better be prepared to be humiliated in public.
