I was reading through some of the reviews here and am a lil confused. I have an amex (GREEN) card. it has a credit limit like any other credit card, revolving credit like any other and rates of interest that are comparable with any other card! it has even attractive interest rates on balance transfer etc.
the limitations so far that I have encountered are in terms of acceptance (not as widely accepted as visa/master) but I have also seen that it is growing. I also use it for online purchases without any problems. I havent had any reason to complain about their service either. in one instance of a lost card, I got a replacement within 3 working days as promised and everything was smooth.
i dont understand what the hue and cry some people are making here are talking about. I think they are a lil confused about amex green.
amex green is like any other regular credit card. but as I understand their policy, you should already have a credit card for you to be eligible for an amex (strange but true! someone in amex told me this) - apparently amex cannot be your first card.
