The best part that I can use to describe AMET is for their Ship training and simulations labs which provides the required hands on experience about the field we choose. Medical fitness is needed for joining marine engineering. Once you choose this course you should ready to sacrifice your old you, because you have to become new you or else they will change you. Thats it. I mean it.
The class rooms are spacious and some are air conditioned. The grounds are huge and have separate fields for all sports so if you are interested in sports it is definitely a plus.
Regarding university administration it is not strict like Anna University based colleges and they will hear out our needs to find the best possible solution. Chief engineers and professors are well knowledged and will be helpful to the students but you will also put in your effort so that we can shine even better.
For placements many large companies take part in campus drive to recruit the cadets but it mostly depends on our individual skillset and ability. In every campus drive more than 50% of the students are place and if you are left they also provides another chance with other companies that will be visiting until the end of the year.
