Went there with friends for Biryani only as they are famous for it. As Rajarhat location is near to our office, so we decided to go there instead of the original branch near Esplanade. We ordered chicken biryani, raita and onion salad. The quality of Biryani was good, a bit bland for my taste though. The rice was of very good quality and cooked to perfection. The chicken pieces were bigger and again nicely cooked(my personal thought is that they don’t use the normal local broiler chicken because the quality of the meat was good and tender). Overall the biryani was nicely done and the quantity was sufficient for me, just on a personal ground, I would have liked it more if it was more spicier and richer. And yes there was a big potato included. The raita that we ordered was a mixed one( the only option available), it really, as always, enhanced the biryani experience.
Coming to the ambience part, I must say the exterior and interior both are very well done. It’s clean and the ambience is soothing. There is ample space to move around. The sofas were very comfortable. There was soft music playing on the background also. The staffs were also good and courteous.
I would say that the money that we spent there was of good value. 3 chicken biryanis, 1 raita, 1 onion salad, 1 mineral water, all wrapped up within Rs 1000 bill.
