Ammis biryani - These guys are enthusiastically trying to capture the interest of the office-goers who depend upon canteens / takeaways - they have put up food stalls at my office, twice now. Which is when I actually got to try the food.
And the food is good - but depends upon how you like your biryani. I tried the Hyderabadi Chicken and Executive Chicken Biryani - both nicely packed with some raita, a tissue paper and toothpick in a pizza box like package - excellent packaging, I would say. The Biryani is less oily, less spicy than what you normally get at restaurants - but it is nicely cooked.
Personally, I like the less oily and less masala(more rice) part of it - but then the taste itself does not come across very well - more like Biryani made for the British. The quantity in the Executive Biryani is just about right for a single person. Hyderabadi comes in a slightly bigger package. We used some offers to buy the Biryani at reasonable rates - but otherwise, it is not that great for the price.
