I decided to give Ammis Biryani a try today for my 3 friends.
I went to their website and saw that they have many many types of Biryanis. I ordered 1 Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani and 1 Hyderabadi Kheema Biryani and 1 Hari Mirch Biryani.
In a matter of minutes I got a call from them saying that they have none of those items but only 1 mutton biryani.
So I ordered a family pack of 1 mutton biryani.
They guy took 1 hour 15 minutes to reach my home and charged me Rs 534
They gave one portion of raita, gravy and sweet with the family portion. despite the fact that family portion is almost three times the cost of the regular portion.
The biryani was absolutely bad tasting. the rice was burnt and the mutton was hard and chewy. there was no marination and spice of any kind. it was just boiled chunks of meat with no taste.
dont fall for their nonsense of "taste of tipu sultans kitched". truth is every restaurant in bangalore would be able to make a better biryani than these fellows.
Total waste of money and time.
