Few weeks back, Took my family to Ampa Skywalk in Aminjakarai. Its the newly opened Mall in Chennai. With lot of expectations we visited the place.
Pros:
1) Compared with Spencers and Chennai city center, the Air conditioning in the mall is good. A good place to chill in summer.
2) The parking arrangement is very good, at every floor level. 200 times better than Chennai citi center.
3) I found very quality shops in the mall. ex: Westside, Such, mochi, Landmark, Archies, Genesis, Chemmannur jewellery etc.
Cons
1) The TATA grocery store at level 0. Its similar to Saravana stores in Renganathan street. Lot of noise, sweating, long queue for weighing and billing, uncleaned floors etc. The prices are also on the higher side.
2) The food court experience.. they need to organize better.
3) Non availability of ATMs.
4) Still construction activities are happening..may be after some time, the place will be organized.
Somewhere, I heard they have cinema theatres too. But I didnt see them.
