I had very bad experience today at AMRI SALTLAKE. Today I bring my mom to emergency to have gallbladder surgery. I told them a have a good amount of corporate mediclaim. And I will avail cashless facility. They told to go through a covid test and after getting the report they will admit her and start treatment. But surprisingly the report came positive.(Earlier they did same thing when I came to admit my wife to deliver my second child. They deliberately make the 3 hour covid report positive and refuse to retest despite knowing that this type of rapid covid test is not highly accurate) And they said they will move her to covid ward for covid treatment. I refused to admit there and requested them that this might be false positive and kindly retest. They said they cannot challenge their own report. I said fine I will not admit rather than I will home quarantine her as she does not have any symptoms and will come back to have the gallbladder microsurgery. They said I have to pay the emergency visit charges around Rs 3.5k(they call it LAMA)(although I have paid Rs2.4k for the 3 hour covid test). I am surprised to see the attitude of the staffs and one top lady management. They bring the police to teach us a lesson to come to this AMRI SALTLAKE hospital to avail healthcare facilities depending on mediclaim. After crying a lot infront of all the staffs and police personnels as I had no money to pay( as we were prepared for cashless services only) they allowed to leave on the condition that they will blacklist my name so that I can not avail any healthcare facilities in future. At last the lady top management asked to give atleast the Rs 200/- to them. SO PATHETIC!
Earlier I have done my father’s RTA TREATMENT costed around Rs 4 lac, my mother’s treatment costed around 60k, my wife’s treatment costed around 50k and delivery of my first child costed around 1.5 lacs. Never had this kind of experience as I have corporate mediclaim.
Conclusion - Never avail any services without the covid report. They are very much money minded and eventually kill(one of my relative admitted and died recently there due to this and eventually he was their own stuff of AMRI SALTLAKE) the patient if they unable to Pay. Record number of the patients suicide here.
I am very much disappointed to see them behaving like a dog. They insulted my 63 year old mother, they insulted and threatened me, they called the local police to take the patient in the police custody as if we did a crime to get treatment with our paid mediclaim. They forget that they purchased the land from the government with only Rs 1 for the purpose of building hospital to serve the poor! They are so arrogant and greedy that they give statement they have seen very much such corporate elite class mediclaim. Also some of them suggested me to go to government hospitals to get such treatment.
I pray to everyone that they should avoid this hospital at any cost. They take advantage of the Covid situation. DON’T FALL IN TRAP OF CASHLESS! THAY HIRED PROCESSIONALS TO ROB THE PUBLIC AT ANY COST.
I curse AMRI SALTLAKE that they will be teached someday by God for the sake of my and my old aged mother’s tears in front of the whole emergency patients, the hospital staffs, the hospital top management, the local police to get out of there. AMRI SALTLAKE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER PERMANENTLY! I am preparing to drag them to the court and I will share my experience to twitter also.
DEAR AMRI SALTLAKE YOU WILL BE VANISHED IN NOTIME IF YOU BEHAVE LIKE THIS. PEOPLE WILL MUST ABANDON YOUR HOSPITAL. STILL THERE IS TIME FOR YOU. SO PLEASE DON’T BILL UNNECESSARILY AND FORCE THE PATIENTS TO PAY. PEOPLE WILL COME TO EMERGENCY BUT YOU SHOULD CLEARLY TELL THEM THE CHARGES BEFORE ANYTHING. NO PRIVATE HOSPITAL CHARGES IN EMERGENCY TO CHECK THE CONDITION. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
