Had my mother admitted for treatment towards Uterine(Endometrial) Cancer. Initially, we were referred to a Medical Oncologist(whose name I dont remember right now). He wasnt open at-all to talk and just wanted the patient to come directly, without giving much details as to the process involved there-after. Looked to be in a great hurry. It caused little inconvenience later, but manageable.
Mom got admitted and we were given a team of docs headed by Surgical Oncologist there, Dr. Vijay Kumar. A very nice person, he was very kind and gave idea of what the treatment would be like and gave good confidence to us. He had a team of docs, Dr. Santosh and Dr. Anupama, both looked efficient, but then not very open to talk to patients relatives. Anyways, operation went on smoothly and now waiting for the Radiation therapy to be done.
The area around hospital is very pleasant and doesnt look like one infrastructure wise. But, due to over-crowdedness and fish market situation within and around hospital, its bit less comfy! Cost-wise, felt they are reasonable and have different cost slabs for people from different economic zones! Thats the best part of it, unlike other good private hospitals, wherein majorly only the rich can afford!
Overall till now the experience was good. Hoping the Radiotherapy too turns out well!
