My friend is a working employee of Amway at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Due to the much older population of workers, much emphasis is being placed on hiring younger folks to fill the talent pipeline. This is a very good thing for early-in-career folks. However, there appears to be a disturbing trend to not promote those who are older.
The Ada-based Nutrition plants have terrible shifts that rotate. A person working in these plants will find that there shifts will be regularly switched. While being told this up-front, few people understand the impact on family life too late. That being said, there are opportunities to bid on other jobs in other plants, ones that don’t have he same schedule.
