Smoke on the water

We should all be glad that the controversy of Global Warming is finally getting popular in media’s eyes. This may be the best way to pressurize corporations and governments to wake up and smell the air they’re cooking. Global resources are most misused by first-world countries.

Many might interpret this documentary as Al Gore’s ‘Claim to Fame’, but I’m just happy that someone had enough political clout, celebrity status and concern to draw attention to this critical problem worldwide.

The biggest culprit is the pseudo ‘land of the free, home of

the brave’, aka the US of A.

We can learn a lot from this documentary, not just about global warming, but by inference and deduction, see how capitalistic America, instead of helping Earth by reducing its own contributions to pollution, is **instead promoting its ‘big

brother’ image by condemning pollution in some developing countries, yet

supporting it in the other places** for its economic gains.

People, we are destroying our own planet. This documentary is definitely worth a dekko on CD. It can

be quite an eye-opener. For more information, check out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Inconvenient_Truth*
