Jeena Jindadili ka naam hai,
murde kya khaak jiya karate hai..’
There something about tears, something very underestimated .... Sometimes, it feels better to cry than laugh, dont know why, but then heart have reasons that reason can not understand :
’Kabhi Kabhi Jab hui bhojhal saanse, bhar aaye baithe baithe jab yun hee aankhen ’
Often, quite often, when I am sitting alone, something start flowing, with or without reason, and it feel so good after crying, so so good, that now, I have stopped searching for the cause,
i just enjoy the tears.
Whenever I think about life, it always looks so simple, so unconditional. A cup of tea, an excahnge of a few jokes , playing with kids, being one for a few minutes, or just watching the sky, enjoying the touch of flowing breeze, you with yourself, ....most of the things that makes one happy hardly comes with a price tag attached to it.
’Jindagi bari hone chahiye, lambi nahi’
Often we confuse ourself to agony, thinking about the social reponsiblities we have to bore, before society certifies us as succesful , and gives us a status tag, which can be then encashed into formal happiness. What it takes to live life, often comes out of the undestanding of the death...
One day , when you suddenly discover that you have handful of days left, when you know that time is precious, when you know that end is near, what would you do ? Death, surprisingly has played a very important part in abstracting liveliness out of live.
Anand is an ordinary story executed in such a simple way, that the very simplicity makes it extraordinary. No big sets, no running around trees, no cheap jokes, no item numbers, no nothing that is considered formula for a hit film, yet, it manage to not only hit the commercial succes, but also hit the right chords within us. And when it hits you, it gives such a nice feeling to your senses, that for once ’hitting’ looks like the most non voilent act in the dicionary of emotions.
All about a man, who knows , hes gona die soon, but before he dies, he lets all of the people around know what is life, what it means to be alive, what is happiness, what are tears, these questions and more are anwered in everything this man does. Be it trying to make a freind out of a stranger out of a seemingly outrrageous act, or trying to unite the broken relations out of misunderstanding, or unhiding the ones that are shy of their expresion . His acts becomes his answers, and without going deeper into questioning, he sparkles flames of life, in everyone he meets. Its such a pleasure to watch each and every scene of this movie - undetstaning of life, has never ever been presetned in form of such a light , feel good entertainer, without compramising on its emotional quotient, which in fact is the essence of the movie.
The films excels in each and every department, be it well defined script, equally well picturised, gripping direction, very well selected star cast, each of whom have done equal justice to their role, be it Rajesh Khanna in the role of protaganist or a cameo by Johney walker, all of the cast have delivered a very convincing performance, and the result can be seen the way movie has turned out to be. Add one of the most souldul lyrics by gulzar and jaidev and tear-ocenic music by salil chaudhary - each and every song of the film is well place, and enhances the human feel of the story.
I didnt like the one thing though. When Anand regrets that he didnt want to die, can someone please edit that out.I wish I could die without regret, of life , of death...I know its dishonest to do that, but sometimes , I want to be one...
What can be aid about this movie. It feels so stupid even to analize it. Certain thing are to be lived than reasoned. This is one of them...
’Ki mar ke bhi kisi ko yaad aaenge,
kisi ke aasuno mein muskuraenge,
kahega phool har kali se baar baar,
jina isi ka naam hai ......................’
May everyone in this world be happy and healthy , may there be peace in all direction, and I pray that no one in this beautiful universe, ever , ever remain sad...
Ma kashchid dukh bhak bhavet ..........
Peace all ...
