*Anand Restaurant - One of the best Vegetarian Restaurants of Kolkata!

All the people visiting the North part of Kolkata or Dalhousie area can visit this restaurant for a tasty and economical meal.
Speciality: The speciality of the restaurant is the South Indian Food. The steaming Idlies, The crispy Masala Dosa, Special Coconut Chutney and Hot Sambar are amongst my favourites. They also serve very good Chats especially Papri chat. Amonst the Icecreams I liked the Tutti Fruity Sundae served with fruits.
Service: The service is very fast and you don’t need to wait for more than 5-10 minutes for your food to arrive. The rates are average. A full meal at an average would be within Rs.100.
It is generally very crowded during the evening and you might end up in a long queue if you dont reach in time. Also don’t forget that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.
Parking: On the Road.
Having grown up in Kolkata I have been a frequent customer of this restaurant since my childhood. I still remember how much I enjoyed the visit to this restaurant with my parents. This was not just for the mouth watering food but the aquariums which have been an integral part of the restaurant decor for as long as I can remember.
During the afternoon you will find a lot of working crowd and Shopper’s from New market, while in the evenings it is mostly Family crowd.
