While considering world wide web into action,
VIKATAN is much considerate than Kumudam.isnt it.?!
I dont mean it in the way of downloading.
VIKATAN updates itz pages regularly on the same day it releases itz magazine on TN.
Whereas I’m little bit confused with the KUMUDAM’s updations.!
Kumudam downloads(Pictures/videos) much faster than vikatan.
Vikatan is the best Tamil magazine I would say confindently because of it’s content and it’s delibrate service to the literature.
It has the right share of Jokes, Quality Stories, Health notes, Motivation(Manase relax please.) & poems etc.,
It was clearly evident when I visited my friends family in Melbourne and Sydney I learned that they even subscribe "Ananda Vikata" although it takes about 3-4 weeks to reach them.
The only magzine that I buy in Singapore and read it regularly in prints.
After reading, Kumudam can be thrown away easily, but for vikatan it’s a difficult decision.
What happened to Kumudam?! I know the Cheif Editor Mr. Rao of Kumudam, was an Associate Editor in Junior Vikatan. After he joined Kumudam, he has started Kumudam Reporter - bi-weekly magazine just to capture Junior Vikatan’s circulation. But JV’s circulation is an unbeatable one. But now Kumudam family got a number of magazines. I think Kumudam is the only magazine family which brings atleast one magazine in tamil in all sections.

Comparatively Vikatan group have four magazines
Ananda Vikatan - Superb weekly jovial magazine
Junior Vikatan - Bi-weekly political & Social
Chutti Vikatan - For children
Aval Vikatan - For women
Why kumudam brings so much magazines?! Is it trying to be a monopoly on all areas?!
Is it possible?!
Or bcos of Kumudam weekly’s dullin circulation makes them to bring so much of magazines?!
my friend says kumudam treats its workers including the editorial mteam badly. infact mr.rao is going to quit he says.
and also there is war going on between s.a.p(founder of kumudam) family and publisher parthasarathy’s family.currently parthasarathy’s son is running the show.and s.a.p.’s son dr.jawahar palaniappan is a famous heart specialist in u.s.a.who wants to take over but could not as he is in u.s.a.
Whatz the position of Lena.Tamizhvanan in Kumudam?! Hez one of the sub-editors of Kumudam right?! But in the imprint I dont know why they put only Lena’s name in a very small letter?! For others even to the reporters they publish their names in bold letters, whereas for Lena.Tamizhvanan only they put his name in a very small letter. Any fight among Lena & Kumudam?! Also from last week onwards, Krishna.Davincy became one of the two editor-incharge. The other one is Priya Kalyanaraman. Whatz going on in kumudam editorial?! A big fighting?!

Ananda Vikatan is the topper of all tamil magazines which are competing in the world.
