I read AV (Anantha Vikatan ) for last 25 years. The recent years, we see tremendous change in AV. AV always used to quote that they don’t allow people to advertise on Alcohol & Cigarette related advts. But what they are currently doing is more dangerous than this.
We’ve been seeing pro-cinema related news in AV. On top of it, it’s almost looks like hero worship. Junior Vikatan, reputed magazine was carrying the headline stating the problem between 2 heros (Danush & chimbu ) in Tamilnadu. The way AV describes about Rajini’s visit to Himalayas made us so surprised. It’s never expected from AV which comes from Vasan family. The way Av describes about their interviews & news about cine people is so rubbish. Some time back I saw the description about the intimacy of one of the cine couple. It’s written as if Av is sitting next to them in the bedroom.
Next 2 months the same couple went and asked for divorce. AV is loosing its credibility in the market. It’s high time to change their attitude.There are so much to share. Because of space constraint, I’m closing this.
