I work overseas. In November 2015, I got in touch with Ananth Cars, Bannergatta Road, Bangalore to negotiate and close the purchase of the NEW XUV 500.
I told them that I will send them the entire payment by 10th December 15 and the car should be ready for collection on 02nd Jan 2016, ready for the road, including registration process etc.
On 02nd Jan 16, WITHOUT any hassle, as committed, at 1100hrs, I collected my car from the Showroom - FULLY ROAD READY! That was truly wonderful customer service! Sachin and Shiva Prasad were the key Sales personnel who went beyond their line of duty to ensure that the car was delivered as per promise and also kept me abreast at all times.

I immediately went for a long trip to Kerala with my family and on the way, I was having trouble with the Front Right Suspension - A DHAK DHAK sound throughout. Since I was already on the long haul, thought I will wait until I return to Bangalore. After driving 2000 km, I finally landed in Bangalore this morning. Immediately, I went to Anant Cars and the Service Manager and his assistant immediately was extremely concerned with the noise and the suspension issue. They said that this is the first time they have this issue with a new XUV 500 and they immediately went to work with the same.
After about 90 minutes, once they were sure that they have fixed the problem, they immediately took it for a Test drive. They came back within five minutes, extremely upset that the job was not fully done! They requested me to give them some more time, as they would like to get to the root of the problem. Around 6 pm, they called me and informed me that the problem was now resolved and I could come and collect the vehicle. There was an issue with a bush and some other part within the main equipment and they finally found the issue. They replaced the faulty equipment without any charge to me.
When I went to the workshop, I found my car undergoing a full wash. I was asked to wait and finally I was asked to sign off the checkout papers. I saw a ZERO charge. Yes, I do appreciate that since the car is under the warranty period and the issue seems to be specifically a "manufacturing defect", and there should be NO related charge for the same.
But, normally, the work / labour charges have to be paid and also since a full car wash has been done, I was expecting a charge for the same too. NOT a single penny was charged to my account! I did not even ask for the Full Car wash BUT since the vehicle was new, the service team felt it was their pleasure to do a full body wash on their account, with compliments!
The Service Center Manager - Mr.Velu apologized for the inconvenience caused and once again re-iterated that it was quite surprising that this has occurred and he assured that this should not happen again. I drove the vehicle and the DHAK DHAK was GONE! Wow! What a feeling to drive the vehicle now! What an AMAZING Value-for-Money High-end High performing vehicle(W10 AWB)!
To conclude, Ananth Cars, BG Road, Bangalore is absolutely fantastic with every aspect of the Sale and After Sale process.
I strongly recommend them and I frankly felt VERY PROUD that an Indian Organization is truly showcasing total professionalism, transparency, timekeeping and decency.
