This is very old temple in udupi . Me and my family went to this place in last month. this is the temple of shiva it is very near to udupi busstand. from bangalore it is about 275kms . here on olden time peoples uded to worship both shiva and vishnu by seeing this we can understand that devotees are present for both shiva and krishna or vishnu.
Here ananthaeshwara swamy and also called as chandramouleshrya swamy is seen . According to people those who have mental stress and they are deeply depressed if they come here they will get a mental peace and they will get rid of depressions as soon as possible. Here special poojas is done on evey shivaratri .
