Ananya by shilpa Gupta is a great fiction book. The readability of this book is good to understand easily in simple language. The story covers in this book is about a young and talented girl, Ananya Sharma whose aspirations are bigger than any of teenagers girl. Being a toper of her class, she loves to compete boys rather than getting in to romantic spheres.
She has her complete focus on cracking IIT enterance exam. But Mohit, a charming and handsome brother of her best friend Mohini comes as a distraction in her life. She witnesses the streaming change in her self and later claiming to be in love.
But from other end, she receives is not trust and affection. She left pregnant at age of 17 to face the world.
She suddenly discovers her self on wrong side of world, which may not allow her comeback to normal life. She faces many difficult phases in her life. But with help of her family and friends, she back with greater strength in order to stroll back to her life.
This novel deals with an incredibly striking and candid represtation of changing world of a teenager’s life.
