Its a good book, a good piece of work.Any woman who reads this book can understand the emotions that the author conveys in this book. when you read the book, you become the character or you jus go with her through out the book.
After completing the book, when I read the author’s note at the end, I came to know tht it is more an autobiography and was shocked to know tht.
The book maintains a balance through out, you dont feel depressed or sad, it just carries on.sme people I heard say tht the book doesnt picturise kerala or kerala culture well or it shows it as a very backward land. when I read the book, I never felt so, she has written the ups and downs and whatever she has written applies to all indian states too.The other characters described in the book, you can find anywhere in your near by household too. so it does not criticize on anything.
Good work, true its spelt out so well all the more reason being an autobiography.
