Think yourself a genius? Try to figure it out

Try to figure yourself in a deserted island where you seem to be prey of a sinister plan. Or try to figure yourself in a cottage with eleven other people, everyone of whom you distrust and one amoung them is planning to murder everybody. And that with no means of escape.

That’s what the plot is all about. Consisting of only twelve characters, and time span of only few days, the story surely monopolizes your time and attention. The story is so thrilling that you cant just keep the book down unless you have finished it. and all the while you keep on guessing is it the judge or the doctor or the criminal? But as all of them die you definitely are at your wits end.

So there is another sinister character in hiding doing it? Maybe so or maybe not. Are there more than one murderers abound. Again maybe not. Definitely the murderer is the one who live till the end, isn’t it? Again maybe not.

There is a definite temptation to directly jump to the end and read about who has done it. but I would advice against it. After all what’s the charm of a mystery novel. I am tempted to tell you who did it, but for your own pleasure I am forgoing that part.

If you have ever liked a mystery movie or a mystery novel then I would ask you to read it. It will definitely be a treat. And if you have not ever read any of Christie’s books, this is the one (another good one is mouse trap) that I would like to recommend. A good book to read on Saturday night when you don’t have to get up early in the morning.
