Good morning to the readers and active writers on MouthShut. Today I am sharing my own personal view on ANDHRA BANK and its functionalities. It has been almost One and a Half Year of Stay with them.
Account opening process is the most easiest if compared to the other banks. These are the documents that are needed for the account opening process: One xerox copy of the Aadhar Card, one copy of the PAN card and two Passport sized Coloured Photographs with white Background. Just carry these documents along with the Originals and we are eligible for filling the form for the account opening. The form is also quiet simple and needs to be filled in with BLOCK LETTERS. Once the forms are duly filled and submitted it takes around 7 working days for the account to be opened. Once the account is active we receive a message to the registered Mobile Number and then we can go and collect the Passbook. The best part is that we need to maintain only INR 1000 as a minimum Balance which is quiet helpful to many people.
I also use the NET BANKING or the MOBILE BANKING for online transactions. The webpage is very simple and is user-friendly but it has one draw back that is it has got very less options. Security wise it good as it promts for the password change every 2 months. I have an android phone and hence I use TEZ by Andhra Bank application. The load time is also less and is quiet easy to use. I like the Quick Pay option which allows me to transfer funds to other person instantly.
Now something about the ATM service. I have seen that the ATMs are kept neat and tidy with a presence of guard guranteed. The ATMs are functional 24/7.
Although I have stated any positive points there are some of the things that the Bank needs to take care about. I have visited many of the branches in HYDERABAD and BENGALURU and I have seen that the Bank Employees seem to be very Lazy. And I would like to highlight one of the most important thing that it takes around 45 minutes for the money to be credited to the account if the cash is deposited in the bank and still till today I am unable to understand what is the reason for that.
