Friends, Andhra bank is the worst possible bank in this world. Have you ever seen anywhere a customer is treated in a pathetic and disgusting way If not visit Andhra Bank to experience this sort of behaviour. Here employees think that they are very intelligent people and their bank is the only one in the country.Whenever you go to deposit any cheque/cash or even withdraw cash thousands of questions are asked as if you are some criminal . Some of Andhra banks staff are mentally retarded they dont even give forms to people saying that forms will be given only to account holders and they should come personally to collect a new form. Same is the case of cheque book and any other belonging the account holder needs to be physically present. Their rules are so weird that they contradict their own statements for example Manager of the branch says something, useless officers will say something else and clerks will say some different nonsense. Poor coordination among the staff, no system in place really a nightmare for customer.
Based on my personal experience with this bank and interacting with their staff on many occasions all I can say is that they are the worst people and have zero customer focus. It took me more than an hour to deposit 5000 rupees and to update my passbook despite of the fact that the bank had no rush at all. Some officers are very arrogant and they treat you as some beggars.This bank is a PSU bank so it is surviving had it been any private bank many employees would have been kicked out due to poor and shameless behaviour,
If you have a locker in Andhra bank please be very careful they have some senseless and meaningless policies to add and delete names to the locker account. They cheat customers by tweaking the rules every now and then. Managers are puppets and are a mute spectator to the activities in the bank. Management of Andhra bank is sleeping and are in their dreams .God knows how this bank is functioning in such a way.
Funniest part of this bank is that some officers refuse to add new name along with joint holders of an account in case of death of any account holder. They demand extra proof more than the death certificate and say that you need to open a new account and close the current account. Their services are also very bad and have no vision.
I am planning to close my accounts with this bank and would request all of you to think twice before opening an account with this bank. Who knows tomorrow you may have to fight for getting back your hard earned money.
