Hello..im here to share my views on Andrew Flintoff aka Freddie.He is a player who would sacrifice a few things for his career.He was a dynamic batsman right from the start of his career. He was overweight and his legs couldnt stand his weight for a long time. He suffered back pains, cramps very often.The then english coach, G.Lloyd was the one who transformed freddie from a missile that has lost its direction into a dart thats always on target.Freddie was a party animal, who wouldnt spare drinks even the night before the match.His performance came down from bad to worse in a matter of 5 months.Lloyd saved freddie from the blushes and made him what he’s now.He made freddie lose a good amount of weight and taught him a few do’s and dont’s that he needs to follow, in order to have a good career.As advised by his coach, freddie lost a good amount of weight and looked fresh and energetic.He improved his batting and bowling skills and sharpened his techniques.He cut down the party going urge and concentrated solely on the game.And now, we can see freddie the most devastating all-rounder.He played a major part in england’s win against the aussies in the 2nd ashes test.he continued his good form in the third test too.
He is considered as the most devastating all-rounder in contemporary cricket.He bats with grit and despatches the ball out of the ground with ease.He bowls well with a disciplined line and fiery pace.He is one person whom all the teams wish to have. He was voted the ODI player of the year by the ICC for 2004.He has come a long way learning a lot of things like how to survive, how to perform etc.
He is sure to create lot of records in the future and he would have a big role to play in the upcoming world cup in 2007.
He is Other team’s envy and England’s pride.
