Before the android studio to build apps for android devices is very difficult becouse of you have install java, eclipse or other software and then android sdk.
It is very difficult to setup the environment for android apps development and we were developping apps in eclipse so we mesh with other projects.
Maintainance of project is very difficult.
So google decided to develop a software of perticular android.
Android studio is developed by the intelliJ and is very faster softer for building apps for android.
It gives us very funtionality that didn’t provided in eclipse.
Code auto completion feature works very fast.
I recommend you guys use android studio instead of other software.
