Though I belong to Bangalore, I live in Mumbai. A few years back I visited every showroom in the city for my daughter’s wedding saree. That was the first time that I saw nearly every showroom’s complete wedding range. I was surprised to see that some showrooms even had the SAME designs with very slight price variation!
On my sister’s recommendation, we went to Angadi. It was a great shop to be in and my daughter picked her wedding saree there.What stood out for us among all the other positives of the store is that they have traditional sarees which are not typical. Both my daughter and I have been an Angadi fans ever since.
I read a few reviews which spoke about problems during exchange, but personally, the only time that I had to exchange, it was a very easily done. Not to offend others, but I think that any store will ask for the bill, and the product to be intact, to exchange. Hence it is unnecessary to defame a saree shop as sincere as Angadi. Also, if a shop was not strict about exchanges. I would doubt if they were selling me a saree worn by someone else earlier!
