My aunt from has been a regular visitor to this store and I make it a point to shop here every time I visit Bangalore. I love this store’s ambiance a lot, it feels like a cross between a temple and a old traditional South Indian house.
I love the fact that no matter how ambiguous I am with what I want, the owner always, ALWAYS knows what exactly will be of my liking!!
My husband has started loving this store too as they have a great collection of cotton and silk printed shirts.... this time we overshot our budget as he picked up 13 shirts apart from my 5 sarees! The shop is very fairly priced so I never had to worry.
I highly recommend this place for quality, variety and price but I recommend, as many others have done too, visit Angadi on weekdays or non peak season to explore it at your own pace. They seem short staffed during holiday season!
