Its been typical of pune tht most good restaurants a far off from the city...if u r ready to have long and little bumpy ride to kondhawa side then ’’ANGARAJ’’ is the place to visit....its really specious and has ample parking space...the big gate and the arch reminds me of an old castle..and indeed its almost a castle with a little bird’s zoo on one side and fountains at the entrance.....there is big doom shaped main entrance which is connected to the parking area with a tiny wooden bridge...quite innovative I must say....inside the brightly lit restaurant u have plenty of place to choose from and there r small bastion like rooms which gives nice feel....on the back side there is newly started water theme park though its closed after 9 pm....food served is lip smaking and I do recommend kababs in veg and non veg...i even like paneer dishes served here but the best thing is chicken handi with lots of marinated soft pieces of chicken....for rice lovers there is biryani and pulav.....the hotel also serves wide variety of drinks.. cocktails and mocktails...i surely recommend this place for food lovers who dont mind a long drive :)
