Charismatic writing??? Not many writers have the calibre, even the style to stimulate suspense (knowing the obvious) as well as rumage deep into technicalities. The story telling capability is indeed superb & stylishly handled.
Coming to the plot its run of the mill murder plot dealt in a significantly high key sequence giving lot of emphasis to detailing of the story(Brown’s signature style). The balancing act in handling the character of Langdon & Vittoria(victim’s adopted daughter) is remarkable.Even the subtlety in giving justice to Mortati & Kohler is well built.
Dan has taken into account the authentic approach towards dealing with factual issues related to CERN (without disputing any issues). The preview of Boeing-X33 & the still no man’s issue of Anti-matter is well dealt with.
Technology freaks & Brown’s fans will find the prequel to Angels annd Demons superbly grasping & profoundly narrated. The open-to discuss issues like the Illuminati & Vatican high handedness is also magnificiently projected without any harsh treatment to the latter.
Overall a scientific approach to a multifaceted blend of Underground Brotherhoods & religious temperament is immaculately handled.
My review goes in sync with readers who already have some hint about the novel.The rating is more about Dan’s style & the miniscule details being highlighted tremendously.
