Dan Brown's Novel

ANGELS AND DEMONS

I just finished reading Dan Brown’s Novel- Angels and Demons. He is the one who wrote Da Vinci’s code, a bestseller.

this novel basically talks about how vatican is faced with a true horror of the awakening of the Illuminati, an ancient enemy of the Vaticans which was believed to be non-existence.

the novel is a fiction but all the facts that are mentioned in the novel are true. the characterisation is good and the plot is well built. although I am not very interested in the vatican history but the book held me on till the end. The Conclave, which is the ceremony of selecting the pope, is well described.

the novel is unbelieving gripping especially in the end. If what Dan Brown mentions in the book was actually true I wonder we are to hear a totally new vatican history filled with dark hidden secrets, infiltrations and major accusations of innumerable famous scientists, and painters of the past or maybe even the present. I even checked out the author’s site, it was unbelievable of what I saw. he had given photos and proofs of all the facts that he had used in the story.

without revealing much of the story I would just say that this novel is a must for people who love mystery, and have a interest in ancient history.
