My love for Dan Brown books began when I read The Da Vinci Code which was recommended to me by a friend. I totally fell for it. Then, I read The Digital Fortress. Another, awesome book. Kudos to Dan Brown was what I said. Now, here I am writing a review on the third Dan Brown I read - Angels And Demons. All I could say after I finished reading the book was Oh my God! Back flip, somersault, crazy, so many twists and turns, so much of action and drama, so captivating. Try to imagine my situation. I begun reading a about 8 in the morning and went directly to 10 at night. Imagine. Of course, I took little breaks. But, try to think, the book was so moving and captivating.
It is featuring a Havard symbologist, Robert Langdon who is also a part of the bestseller The Da Vinci Code. By the end of the book, youll fall in love with him. He along with a beautiful and mysterious physcist go on quest to save the smallest country in the world The Vatican City. It involves an ancient cult called Illuminati. Read the book yourself to find out more on this. I will not reveal anything. I wont spoil the fun. Even the information is something that you should read. Dont even read the outline of the story before you begin. The real fun will be then. Read it!! Thats some advise I give you.
MOre advise, concentrate and read. I mean, make sure you dont miss any detail. Every word counts. Youll enjoy it more this way.
It has been written in a very nice way that gets your pulse racing. From assasins to churchs and cathedrals...this book has everything.
It is based on a conflict between Science and Spirituality. It made me believe in God. It shows the significance of both. The world is incomplete without any one of them. They are so well connected together. Its hard to think how Dan Brown gets such ideas and thoughts. Great work! But this is not the only thing it holds. It holds secrets about places in Rome and Vatican. It holds the thrills of a thriller.
Its a perfect read for a history buff, a philospher, an action man and of course an interested reader. Actually, itll appeal to everyone.
This is perhaps the best book written by him.
