The "Animal" movie name tells everything. The movie is so much have brutal and violent scenes. Overall, this movie can be watched only one time and genuinely not with your family.
Talking about the acting of the cast. Anil Kapoor as Balbir Singh and Ranbir Kapoor as Ranvijay Singh are the best in the entire movie. Their every angry scene chills me out and gives me goosebumps.
Also, the emotional scene where they share a very nice bond of father and son gave me tears in my eyes. Bollywood has made this kind of scene after a long time. Rashmika Mandanna as Geetanjali Singh has done the worst acting in the entire movie. Her overacting can be seen in a fraction of a seconds. Her emotional scene seems funny sometimes.
The storyline was pathetic after the interval. They have just ended the story so quickly in the second half that the audience was not given enough time to grasp or be able to perceive the scenes. In the first half, the full attitude scenes of Ranvijay Singh(Ranbir Kapoor) were very interesting and loved by many people in the theatre. People were screaming and shouting in every entry of Ranbir Kapoors scene and talking about the most iconic scene of Ranbir Kapoor where he started to kill his enemy with that mega type of gun loved by many hearts. Also, the scene where Ranvijay takes a gun to his sister Reets(Saloni Batra) college and fires as well just because his sister facing the ragging problems in her college was an overhyped scene. On one side this portrays how the sister and brother bond was so deep that a brother can do anything for his sister. But, this also gives negativity to todays youth generation. This kind of violent movie encourages todays Generation Z to attempt this kind of act in their everyday lifestyle places such as colleges and schools.
Music and VFX are the best. In the entire movie, I didnt find anywhere that the music has been overrated or the visual part has been seen as fake. Like, in one of the scenes where Ranvijay and Geetanjali Singh are sleeping in the Aeroplane, we can see that there is a huge mountain in their way they get a signal and Ranvijay controls the Aeroplane and also move it in more altitude(height). In that, the art of VFX is greatly been used.
At last, the iconic actor Bobby Deol who played the role of cousin brother of Ranvijay Singh, named Abrar Haque was the highest peak role of the movie. He didnt have any dialogue in the movie as he was shown that after his fathers death, he was unable to speak. But, also he has the most dirty role in the movie. His role in this movie reminds me of his character in his web series named "Aashram". Overall, he was only in the movie for hardly an hour of screen time in the entire movie.
In conclusion, the movie is not going to blast the movie industry as its storyline was too vague, and also the violent and brutal scenes. This movie was saved just because of the acting of Ranbir and Anil Kapoor as the Father duo of Ranvijay and Balbir Singh. Also, the scenes involving cars and airplanes, are good as well. Fighting scenes were shot very well.
Why do we want to see this movie?
According to me, the audience who loves fighting scenes a lot and also enjoys the movies plot with some cool action drama will enjoy this movie a lot. Even the past movies of this Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga are based on this category. For example, Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy. Based on only the acting of Ranbir Kapoor as a great and possessive son and Anil Kapoor as a strict dad, this movie deserves a four-star rating.
