"Animal" had big expectations. The first half is full of action, Ranbir Kapoor’s fantastic acting, and great background music. As the second half starts, the action slows down and more conversations take over.
Ranbir Kapoor as Vijay is amazing on screen. Rashmika as Geetanjali, playing the wife, did a convincing job, and Anil Kapoor portrayed his role of Balbir Singh really well, showing the struggles of overpowering love. Bobby Deol, although not seen much, leaves a strong impact when on screen.
Overall, it’s a story about intense love between father-son, husband-wife, and siblings, shown in a bold way. Director Vanga’s perspective on women may seem unusual, much like in ’Kabir Singh, ’ occasionally coming off as a bit insensitive.
