Director Siddharth Anand is ready to release his fourth film Anjaana Anjaani starring Ranbeer Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and Sharan Kapoor under his IBC Motion Pictures banner, produce the film. The movie is set to release on 24 September. Advaita Kala and Siddharth Anand have done the screenplay.
Vishal – Shekhar music is setting feet groove along already. The duo had also given the music for Siddharth’s three movies in past. They seem to hit it together. Sources say that Siddharth was impressed with Lucky Ali’s singing in his last film and has therefore made him sing for Ranbeer this time as well. Let us say, we loved it too.
It will not be wrong to say that the movie has come up with a different story and plot. It is said to be inspired by 1999 French film La Fille Sur Le Pont. It has been rightly said that in Bollywood you just cannot hide remakes. Described as a strange and romantic love story it awaits the viewers’ comments. The story is about Aakash(Ranbeer) and Kiara(Priyanka) who are struggling for their career but end up with nothing in hand. Tired of their lives and depressed they both try to suicide jumping off the same bridge, coincidentally. In addition, the story goes on….
Cinematographer is none other than Ravi K. Chandran who has won Filmfare thrice and won German Public Bollywood Award for cinematography for Rab Ne Banadi Jodi in 2009. A must watch for those interested in angles and shots. Moreover, when it is USA you can expect the director to bring in all the flavors of locations.
