I visited this lovely beach last month during my trip to Goa. This beach has a wonderful shoreline, and the sunset here is simply magnificent! The surrounding trees and the greenery make for an amazing scene as well. The best things were the rocks. Some of them were really huge! Therefore, I felt that this beach is just perfect for clicking some awesome photos.
The fact that Anjuna beach is not renowned for activities like water sports came as a blessing for people like me. For this reason, Anjuna experiences a lot less crowd than most other beaches in Goa. Therefore, the beach is very quiet and you can enjoy the beauty of nature quite peacefully. Moreover, the beach is conveniently located, and hence, can be accessed from all corners of Goa.
I discovered plenty of markets and shops near the beach. And these markets and shops can serve as great local sightseeing spots for you as well. In this context, the Anjuna Flea Market deserves a special mention. As I found out that this market is an amazing blend of traditional Indian souvenirs and premium handicrafts. The varied colors of the items attracted me the most.
As far as the safety factor, the Anjuna beach is a lot safer in comparison to some of the other beaches in Goa. You will also come across a number of budget hotels as well as expensive accommodations near the beach.
