1) Ek Pal Ke Liye (three versions) [Singers: Kay Kay, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, lyrics: Amitabh Verma]
Ek Pal ke liye, ghadiyan humko mili, makhmali pyar ki,
Ao is pal ko jee lein zara..
Another melodious gem, hats off to KK and Pritam. Ek Pal Ke Liye is about being with your loved one and spending as much time as possible in that single moment. Shreya Ghoshal too gets a piece of the cake as she arrives to another version of Ek Pal with her solo. Nevertheless, one would still prefer a far more spirited version by KK that came earlier on. Things only continue to get further more entertaining as Sonu Nigam too gets an opportunity to sing his solo version and the results are excellent, just as it is expected from a singer like him. An excellently worded song by Amitabh Verma, Ek Pal is a beautiful candle-light song to which you want to sway with your partner in dim lights.
2) Tumse Yu Milenge, Lamha [Kunal Ganjawala, Babul Supriyo, lyrics: Subrat Sinha, Sameer]
Tumse yoon milenge, humne socha na tha..
Aur yeh Zindagi..
This song rips you apart, and roars into youe heart! Extremely well sung and composed.
..Subtle feeling of romance continues to keep you glued to the album with the arrival of Tumse Yu Milenge.the song is based on a situation where two individuals meet after a gap and their romance is rekindled
Babul Supriyos full length version of the same song comes in the form of Lamha. While the tune remains same, the lyrics change with Sameer coming on scene.
Lamha, har lamha, lagta hai kyun naya
Dil ko, mere dil ko, jane kya ho gaya..
Music is almost the same as Tumse Yoon milenge, but the lyrics and singer are changed.
3) Ankahee (two versions) [Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, lyrics: Sameer]
Aankhon mein, anjaane, rahte manzar kahin,
Seene mein, chibhti hai, koi bebasi nayi..
a slow, haunting number full of pain.
4) Aa Paas Aa [Shreya Ghoshal]
aa paas aa (2) sanam(2)
[come close come my love]
saha na jaaye dooriya ka gham
tujhe hain kasam - 3
tujhe hain kasam - 3
Aa Paas Aa comes at the very end and is a solo, just like all the other songs in the album. It is about a woman asking her lover to be with her. In continuation to the mood of the entire album, this one too has a haunting feel to it with melody as a base, though in comparison with songs like Ek Pal and Tumse Yu Milenge, its a little behind. It should work well as a part of the narrative though!
Bottom line is atleast once do listen 2 tumse yun milenge... itz a lovely song... my 2nd fev 4m dis movie is aankhon mein anjaani (ankahee)
