Anna University has become so money hungry that it has been giving affiliation to hundreds of engineering colleges all over Tamil Nadu even though these colleges are poor in quality. Anna University itself is poor in quality since it is run by the lazy government.
Anna University uses a centralized system for exam correction and result publishing, which means the answer papers from hundreds of affiliated engineering colleges are taken to anna univesity and corrected there. Exam corrections take a long time to complete since Anna University has to correct the answer papers of almost more 300 to 400 colleges. Anna University takes 4 to 5 months to release the results, revaluation results of each semester. By the time they release the result the next semester exam is only days away. We are facing huge amount of stress and mental tension due to the results being delayed to such a great extent.
If the money hungry Anna University gives affiliation to more colleges then the results will be even more delayed. The students of these affiliated colleges are the major sufferers.
The exam correction is more pathetic. They don’t even bother reading the papers and give marks only if the paper is neatly presented and has good hand writing. If you have bad hand writing they your doomed. They fail students randomly so they can earn more money in the form of revaluation fee.
Do not join this university of any college affiliated with Anna university. If you see the name Anna university anywhere just ran as far away from it.
