Annabelle is the third movie in the conjuring series and the series has yet again failed to make an impact. With almost the same cinematography and story line the movie lacks in unpredictability, which is basically the essence of horror movies. The movie has too much in common with the previous parts that at some points it feels like one of the previous movies from the series. Even the sound effects are almost the same. The story goes on a very predictable plot which makes the audience lose interest and the story moves too fast after the interval making it difficult to grasp on the story.
Hollywood horror movies have mostly failed to scare or amaze the Indian audience and Annabelle is not different from any of them. It is a thumbs down from my side.
The story is about a toy maker’s family who had lost their 7 year old child in a tragic road accident years ago, and this child come backs to life in form of a doll and the family is then haunted by paranormal activities.
