Consider this!!
A group of 30-40 guys pile up upon a single guy, And then suddenly the man breaks off from the pile by breaking himself free from the group! no iam not drunk! nor am I speaking about matrix-reloaded, Its a local movie called as anniyan!! staring vikram, sadha, vivek, prakash raj, cameo performances by cochin haneefa, etc so here we have shankar who has come up with his new movie called as anniyan the interesting part is this , althrough his movies the theme was pretty much the same which is kinda nationalist theme.
The much hyped music given by harris jayaraj is disappointing comparing to his past music he delivered, only 2 songs are worth hearing the first one being 1.kumari 2.iyengar veetu. The rest of the songs has enough power to make you to make a quick dash to the toilet especially the nokia something song which sucks BIGTIME.
Actually the movies seems like a bigtime remix of deewanagee(hindi starring akshayekhanna, ajaydevgan, urmila matondkar) and indian(hindi).
Still the movie deserves credit for the acting of vikram and the direction of shankar, as usual vivek comes up with his rib-tickling comedies which never tires anyone,
Prakash Raj also has done justice to his role efficiently , But all this is easily overshadowed by the acting of Vikram for which he gets 100% credit , especially the scenes where he acts as split personality was amazing which is mind blowing.
The film does take us to finer details like japan although was backward to india during the atom bomb is now a superpower as compared to india whose position is sombre each and every point told in the movie is true uptil the last second of the movie.
Now coming to the part of crores of investment, ---
It was really unecessary for the 36 crores of money to be flown so easily, I don’t think money will any way affect the movies success or failures, money was spent lavishly during the song sequesces etc which was really worthless there was a scene where the whole bridge is painted, all the cars, buses, etc painted!! was looking like they where shot in the movies just after they played ’’holi’’!! it was really unnecessary.
Now coming to fights ----
seeing fights in anniyan & chandramukhi iam left in no doubt that after seeing these movies the real matrix hero(keeanu reeves) will either attempt suicide or just stop acting in those roles where fighting is needed , the director tried to replicate matrix reloaded scenes in the movies which was a dud scenes like after being kicked the kicked person crashes in the wall and in the wall little gap is formed and all is like being cut and pasted from matrix trilogy
and also guys ther is a flaw in the movie!! try noticing the flaw in the movie or scroll down for the flaw which is not noticeable.
verdict from me ------ A gud movie worth every single bucks u give in the theatre

Just before the fight between prakash raj and vikram takes place vivek switches on the camera which was fixed in the onesided glass . but guess what? when vivek shows the video in the court the video show’s closeups of vikram and also the camera is shown shaking continously as if somebody is shooting the video inside the lie detecting room!! pretty unnoticeable rigt?
