As the name suggest the book is mainly for designers and engineers. The content is good, self explanatory and most of the time is supported with easy practical examples so that the user may also get a good hands-on experience. A person with just basic knowledge related to design can learn much from this book.
The book is just an introduction to finite element analysis, basic and advanced solid modeling, thermal analysis and generating of reports in ANSYS. But it covers the content which is related to APDL only and not Workbench concepts, which is a drawback.
Also advanced features are not explained in much depth.
A CD is provided along with the book which has a few APDL files same as that of the examples explained in the book itself.
