I was interviewed for just 15 minutes in Google Meet.
An HR called me up that I was shortlisted for the interview process and the next round would happen the same day at so and so timing. But she also said that it will not be a technical round, just a casual meet just to understand how well I fit in their organization.
But it was actually a technical interview round. The interviewers should understand that if they have promised a candidate that it will not be a technical round then it shouldnt be. They are simply calling up a candidate and say you will have an interview within next 2 hours. There is no time for the other person to mentally prepare for it. When said it will be a casual round they shouldnt make it a technical round and that too it was a time bound interview. The moment 15 mins were over the HR said they have next round of interview and would talk to me later.
And, everybody present during the interview on the Google Meet, were asking me technical questions. Be it the technical person, be it the founder himself or the HR.
It was a typical startup scenario. Any fresher may like to join but it is not for experienced candidates.
Also during the first call, the HR intimidated that they are going to hire candidates with minimal budgets. This shows they are a complete startup. They will share a few 10 to 15 questions to answer over mail and that will contain questions about your health, hospitalisation, etc for e. g.,
Do you have any medical conditions
Your last hospitalization date ( from and to) and reason for the same
Have you tested positive for corona ever
Have you registered to take the Corona vaccination
After that the technical round will happen untill they further change this process of hiring.
