Pankaj Awasthi has proved it again that his music is so original and different from rest of the lot.
Very unlike Bollywood, fresh and original! ’Maula mere’ is a beautiful track by Mithoon but lacks any originality in terms of instrumentation. ’Javeda Zindagi’ is another soothing track for bollywood type of music lovers, it almost sounds like ’Maula mere maula’. ’Bagla’ is one song which is out of place, I wonder why is it there in the album. It is a badly produced out of key song, the remix as well sounds like that it is produced in an hour sounds like a downmarket, cheap track.
Rest of the tracks are part of the background music of the film. ’Jo tune aas lagai’ by pankaj awasthi is a very well sung song, its just that it is a very short one, I guess its because its part of the background music. The mela track is an amazing track with no words I believe its just vocals so beuatifuly sung that it does not matter what the words are.
Overall it’s a nice album with ’Dilbar Mera" an amazing track and Maula a soothing one for the masses. It’s an album for listners who are ready for something different. Must have in the collection!
