Poor service after Waranty

Water heater 15 liter capacity is a good product. But service is very poor. The service requests gets cancelled giving wrong reasons like


a. customer requested postponement/reappointment


b. duplicate request


c. customer requested cancellation.


This has happened to me for not only water heater but also for the water purifier.


The call center team is helpless since their job is to say sorry in polite voice. But now a days even that has changed.


Today one call center employee who attended the call told me not to shout before even I started getting angry and immediately I told him now that you want me to shout, I will shout.


The technicians cancell the request and make us generate fresh request so that they will gain one more day time.


AO smith wants to maintain FAKE records of attending on time!


As a product, water purifier is bad, there are better products in the market. Please do not buy water purifer from AO smith.


But Water heater is a good product, but keep the poor service in mind. You will not get service support once waranty period is completed. They will force you to enter into AMC for water heater at Rs 5, 500 per year, if you do not take AMC, you will face problems.


In US, these kind of customer complaints are taken very seriously, but in India, customer has to run around and not the company! Anyway I am moving the consumer court soon and I have recorded all my conversations with the call center and the technicians in my mobile.
