AO Smith Geyser - Worst product and Service

I am highly dissatisfied with AO Smith Product, it’s after sales service and its service center at Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune.


I had purchased AO Smith Geyser on 01-Dec-18. Within 6 months of purchase, product started giving problem like no heating even after switching on for 20 min.


I raised my concern to dealer Radhika Swiches and Gears Pimpri but they told me to directly raise concern to AO Smith Service Center.


I tried to contact AO Smith team on given support number, but didn’t get any response on call.


Then sent a message on WhatsApp support number on 02 August 19. Fortunately got response, but unfortunately the engineer unable to resolve problems. He told me that this product has problem of thermostat plate which need to be replaced. He promised me to replace and rectify problem within a week. But within few hours of his visit, complaint has been closed without replacement/resolution.


Since then I raised multiple complaints but every time some other engineer use to call me and shows no interest in serving.


I being poor customer of India, didn’t give up, and logged a complaint again with hard words. Then an engineer came and replaced 2 parts. Geyser started working but for some time only.


Again followed same sequence, again engineer visited and clearly told me that this a product won’t work and has be replaced. He also uninstalled product and asked to replace from dealer.


After that everybody from service center started ignoring me.


Then I approached Dealer who paid attention to this poor customer, shows his commitment and promised to replace this worst product within a day.


But now its 10th day of his commitment, my AO Smith Geyser lying down at home with no replacement.


It’s so frustrated to follow up for such a product of Rs. 3000/- which is under warranty but product company is not at all interested in resolving customer problems.


My final request to AO Smith company owner to collect the product from my home and keep it in your godown. It’s unnecessarily occupying space in my small house.
